Back in 1988, Duane was traveling weekly and selling golf course advertising on tee signs and benches at golf courses from the midwest to the west coast for a company based in Portland, Oregon. At that time he also started testing the waters with promotional products on a part time basis. Gradually he shifted his efforts from travel and golf advertising to the world of "Trinkets & Trash" as we like to call it. By 1992 he was selling full time and in 1994 we incorporated our company, Duane Svec Advertising as a promotional products distributor.

Through the years our company has grown and shifted locations from a tiny basement office in Hooper, Nebraska, to a new home office located in a loft above our garage, to where we are today in a beautifully renovated building located on Hooper's historic main street. Our offices opened in 2003 including generous workspace, storage and a unique show room.

Together, Duane and Angie have successfully paired sales tools and marketing ideas to assist clients of all types and sizes grow and maintain their business through the use of promotional products. As members of ASI (Advertising Specialty Institute), they attend regional and national product shows and have access to one of the most dynamic search programs available in the industry. They thrive on finding product ideas and creative solutions for a variety of business needs and rely heavily on outstanding vendor relationships to offer competitive pricing and exceptional customer service. Along with idea generation, they provide options for company stores via custom client websites. They employ an Office Manager, Accounting Manager and currently have eight Sales Consultants.

Angie & Duane reside in the Indian Creek neighborhood in Elkhorn, Nebraska and have two children, Cola, who is a Junior at the University of Nebraska-Kearney and Trevor who is an 8th grader at Elkhorn Ridge Middle School in Elkhorn. Duane and his five brothers grew up in Scribner, Nebraska. His father was a Veterinarian and his mother was a School Teacher. Angie, her two sisters and brother grew up on a farm near Uehling, Nebraska where her father managed the Farmer's Coop and still manages the First National Bank Northeast today. Her mother ran a catering business along with managing the farm life as a homemaker. In addition to the diverse and exciting world of advertising specialties, Angie & Duane enjoy a variety of sports and both coach in either high school or youth programs including volleyball, baseball, and basketball. They love to golf, travel, and spend time with their family and friends and of course support the Antlers, Lopers and Huskers! They are members of Bethany Lutheran Church in Elkhorn and have actively participated in community programs through the years including the Hooper Fire & Rescue Department, Youth Baseball and Softball Programs, 4-H, Various Business Clubs, Several Area Chambers including Western Douglas County, Omaha, Sarpy County, Lincoln, Seward, Columbus, Norfolk, Fremont and more.
